From arsTECHNICA:
I Am The Cavalry’s Beau Woods provided expertise for an arsTECHNICA article on the reasoning behind the healthcare industry generally being behind when it comes to cybersecurity measures.
“There’s all this life saving medical technology, but researchers generally only get access to the stuff they can buy off eBay, and only then at great personal cost themselves,” said Beau Woods, a Cyber Safety Advocate for the I Am the Cavalry initiative, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the FDA, and a Fellow with the Atlantic Council. “Sometimes they need a loading dock that has the thousand dollar piece of equipment data spot. Access to equipment is a real problem.”
