I Am The Cavalry Co-Founder Josh Corman kicked off day one of the 3rd Annual National Cybersecurity Summit, hosted by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) on September 16.
Josh is currently serving as a senior advisor and visiting researcher at CISA in an effort to carry out the work and mission of The Cavalry.
Our dependence on connected technology is growing faster than our ability to secure it in areas affecting public safety, national security, and human life. We like to say, ‘wherever bits and bytes meet flesh and blood.’
If the cavalry isn’t coming, if no one’s going to save us, then it was a call to action for the hackers and the coalition of the willing to say ‘what are you willing and able to do?’ Something is missing from the world. We need to put it there.
So, if the cavalry isn’t coming, it falls to us to try to do our part. And that’s what we’ve been doing for seven years.
